Overall really really nice stay for the weekend. Lovely staff and location, I loved to be here. The breakfast had plenty of food, like toast, fresh fruit, cereals, breads and muffins.

Quirky and overall clean place with a very friendly reception. Easy check in, very good service, I loved it.

Facilities were very good, even so Wi-Fi was very poor.

Everything was very good and clean, I enjoyed staff and location. Plenty of food at the breakfast, including cereals, toast, croissants, fresh fruit and fresh bread. Nothing too much trouble, I spent a very nice time here.

Would recommend. It's beautifully designed place to stay 1 km away from The National Trust.

Had a nice time. Breakfast was abundant, stunningly beautiful views, unbeatable location very close to Ambleside and the Main Street in Ambleside. I loved that there were a fireplace, a work desk and a TV set in my superior deluxe queen room.

I stayed here 3 nights and I enjoyed it. Gorgeous breakfast, excellent service. Perfect view from the room, cosy room with a work desk and television.

The venue is beautifully decorated, clean and the location is ideal not far from Ambleside, the village centre, all the nearby restaurants. The rooms are bright with nice view and the overall experience is good.

The hotel was original, I loved the attentive staff and savoury breakfasts. The room was brand-new and airy, which made the experience very good. The bed seemed comfortable and it was impeccably clean all around.

It made our trip to Ambleside an excellent experience. Amazing view, a nice balcony, very comfy bed, too. Friendly service, nice restaurant on site.

It was a fabulous time staying at this stylish hotel. We loved reception, it was friendly. Pool was heated and the staff were fast. The specialty restaurant was GREAT, they served cheap food. Had branded drinks in the main bar.

I loved isolated location and the good service of the team. Late check out too. Within walking distance of the natural beach.

Staff were best, hotel was clean, set in local area near the Main Street in Ambleside, town centre, Ambleside. Elegant units with nice view.

The staff was charming, absolutely perfect location, had a satisfactory breakfast. The small double room was warm and fab, perfect for my needs. Welcoming reception. Besides, free WiFi was working well, you can use it in all rooms.

The hotel is housed in a neat building. The bed was comfy and we appreciated our stay there. Easy walk to Peggys Takeaway, where you can have lunch.

Liked that television, a seating area and a study table were included.

helpful staff, comfy bed, lovely breakfast. armitt museum was around the corner. food in the fells, where you can eat, is within walking distance to the hotel. it is near to the airport.
